The following examples show four graphic elements unique to the Education brand expression.
The Energy Burst is the one of the main design elements in the Education brand. It is derived from the UVA Oculus pattern and captures the feeling of optimism, energy, growth and impact.
The two primary variations are the “Sunrise,” a more saturated color overlay, and the “standard rise,” an overlay that uses the UVA Orange & Blue. The burst can also be used in a monochrome palette.
Borders bring character and distinction to the Education brand. They are bold and bright and give visual weight, balance and order to compositions.
The two types of borders are the “Sunrise” burst and the “Standard Rise” gradient.
