Temporary Banner Request Form

Temporary banners may be placed in one of the approved locations listed below. Note that these bridges are the only approved sites for temporary banners on or around Grounds. Banners are not to be hung on or around facilities or building columns.

Goodwin Bridge

The South Lawn Bridge

Claude Moore Bridge

Banners can be displayed on one or both sides of the bridge. If there are different designs for each side of a bridge, they must be cohesive and both designs need to be approved by the Branded Environment Working Group.

UVA Facilities Management is the only approved entity to print, install and remove banners on Grounds. 
Requests are reviewed on a first-come, first-serve basis, please submit your request at least four weeks in advance of the requested installation date.

NOTE: A 1/4" bleed is required for uploaded files. Files must be scaled at 1/2 or 1/4 the final printed size and indicated so in the file name. For example, "Banner_HalfScale.pdf."

Please select up to two bridge locations.

Temporary banners can be used to promote university events such as Final Exercises, Alumni Weekend, and Virginia Film Festival among others. All temporary banner artwork must be approved by the UVA Branded Environment Working Group before installation.
I understand artwork must be approved before Facilities Management can print and install a banner.

Who is the main point of contact for installation (if different from requester)?
Once the artwork has been approved, Facilities Management will review and provide costs for printing & installing the temporary banner.
