Ordering Process

The University’s licensing team supports those who wish to order UVA promotional materials and other merchandise with a process that protects the University’s marks, names and logos and ensures that all products are consistent with our policies, values and brand standards. University faculty, staff and student organizations should follow the steps below to order branded materials. 

Step 1: Choose a vendor licensed to produce UVA-branded products.  
Step 2: Collaborate with the vendor on your brand-compliant artwork.  
Step 3: Complete your order. 

Working with Virginia Athletics, the Collegiate Licensing Company and other merchandising entities, the UVA licensing team develops partnerships with best-in-class licensees – individuals, companies and organizations – to deliver innovative, attractive products to consumers. Once a product has been customized with a UVA mark and ordered by a customer, it moves through the below production process:


Step 1: The licensed vendor submits brand-compliant artwork for UVA licensing approval. 
Step 2: The UVA licensing team approves submitted artwork.
Step 3: The vendor creates a proof for the customer using approved artwork.
Step 4: The vendor produces and ships the finished product to the consumer.
