Our orange-and-blue color palette is among the most powerful and visually recognizable features of the University’s brand. Our primary brand colors unify and strengthen the University community’s communications and marketing efforts, and evoke a strong connection to UVA among our audiences. UVA Orange and UVA Blue should always take center stage in our designs. Our secondary color palette should have a supporting role, complementing and adding a bit of dimension without claiming the spotlight. Primary Colors
UVA Orange and UVA Blue use University-specific formulas to ensure greater consistency and better manage the use of the colors by approved University vendors. UVA Orange and UVA Blue are available in Spot and CMYK formulas. The two colors are official products of Pantone, and Pantone swatches and ink mixtures are available upon request. If, however, your print vendor does not allow custom PMS ink mixtures, we’ve provided a best-match Pantone value from their current library of swatches below that most closely matches UVA Orange and UVA Blue.

Secondary Colors
We offer five secondary colors that support our primary UVA Orange and UVA Blue. These are not intended to take the place of the primary colors, and the secondary color palette can change over time. For flexibility, the secondary colors can also be used at 25% tint.
